The Lele Pons X Tarte Collection was definitely a surprising and unexpected collaboration. This influencers collection features three items including an eye & cheek palette, a lip gloss, and a pair of false eyelashes.
The Lele Pons X Tarte Eye & Cheek Palette Swatches:
The palette retails for $35 US dollars. The palette comes with a big mirror and contains 9 eyeshadows, a blush, and a highlighter. For the eyeshadows, 3 are matte and 6 are shimmer.
Mattes:
From left to right: Boo Boo Cakes, Amigos, Cabo
Boo Boo Cakes is a matte light brown.
Amigos is a matte reddish-brown like a brick color.
Cabo is a matte purple-black.
Shimmers:
From left to right: Piña Colada, Miami, Venezuela, Lelita, Loca, Hibiscus
Lelita is a rose copper shimmer.
Loca is a pink champagne shimmer.
Hibiscus is a purple-pink almost duo-chrome like shimmer.
Piña Colada is a white champagne shimmer.
Miami is a golden yellow shimmer.
Venezuela is a golden bronze shimmer.
Blush and Highlighter:
From Left to Right: Playa, Celoso
Playa is a matte warm pink blush
Celoso is a rose gold highlighter
The Lip Gloss Swatches:
There is only one lip gloss in the collection and it is called Lele. The Lele lip gloss retails for $20 US dollars. It is a rosy pink with golden shimmers inside.
The False Eyelashes:
Just like the lipgloss, there was only one pair of false eyelashes that were released with the collection. The eyelashes retail for $12 dollars. They are very wispy and pretty.
The Review of Each Product:
The Lele Pons X Tarte Collection had some hits and misses for me. Let’s first examine the Lele Pons X Tarte Eye & Cheek Palette. This warm neutrals palette has pretty colors, I just wished there were more mattes. Nevertheless, the mattes blended well with each other. The shade Cabo needed a little more work than the others, but that is normal with blacks. The shimmers of this palette are very creamy and easy to apply. I love the blush Playa, it is a beautiful color on the cheeks. The highlighter in Celoso is beautiful as well as a blinding, but was a little too dark for me. If you are looking for an eye & cheek palette and are fair to light skin tone, you might want to stay clear of this palette, test out the highlighter in stores, or apply the highlighter with a very light hand. The lipgloss, Lele, was definitely a miss for me. I found it to be sticky and not as glosses as other lip glosses in my collection. For the price of $20 dollars, there are other lip glosses that I enjoy more like the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow. I can’t give you a review of the false eyelashes because I have not had a chance to review it.
