Its finally May and we are still in quarantine. During April, I have accumulated some quarantine favorites.
I have divided them into categories below.
Games:
My biggest favorite for April/quarantine has been the Nintendo Switch. I have been using my Switch religiously ever since I got it this month. I love how you can go from using it as a handheld then converting it into a television console, it is such a great and useful feature. The games that I have been playing on my Switch have been Mario Kart Deluxe 8, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Fortnite. Out of all my games, I would say that I have been playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons the most. It is a very calm and relaxing game that helps speed up time. I know that the Nintendo Switch is sold out everywhere and scalpers are selling Nintendo switches for more than double the original price. If you are looking to buy a Nintendo Switch, I would suggest using a restock tracker website like zoolert.com or refreshing Best Buys website frequently. When I was searching for a Nintendo Switch, Best Buy would have the most random restocks, but you have to be fast because they would sell out fast. It took me about a week to purchase my Switch.
Beauty:
I haven’t really been putting on makeup this month, so I don’t have any makeup favorite. However, I do have a beauty favorite. This month I have been using the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask a lot. Just because I have to be home all day, does not mean I have dry lips. I love using the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask as a lip balm because it is one of those lip balms where you feel your lips get hydrated as you apply. If you haven’t tried it, you should, it one of the best lip balms ever made.
TV Shows:
Binge-watching TV shows was another thing that kept my occupated this month. My favorite shows that I have watched this month have been Money Heist, Blacklist, All American, and Legacies. To give you a quick description of each show, Money Heist is a show about a group of people robbing a bank. Blacklist is about a guy on the Most Wanted List helping the FBI catch criminals while still being a criminal. All American is about a teen from Crenshaw gets recruited to play football at Beverley Hills High School. And finally, Legacies is about a school of supernatural teens and is the spinoff of the TV Shows Originals and Vampire Diaries. Out of four shows, my top 2 would be Blacklist and Money Heist.
