Review and Swatches: ColourPop ” Pretty Please ” Palette

ColourPop “ Pretty Please ” palette is a $20 bundle eyeshadow palette created with single Colourpop eyeshadows. It comes with a small magnet palette and 12 singles eyeshadows.  Out of the 12 eyeshadows, 4 are matte, 2 are metallic and 6 are pressed glitters.
The shade names from left to right, Misty, Thank U, Next, Stay Golden, Cut-outs, Top-Notch, Lay Low

Metallics

Looking from left to right from the picture above, the first two shades are metallics. Misty is a metallic pinky rose gold. The ColourPop website does say it had baby blue glitter, but I personally don’t see it. Thank U, Next is a metallic rosy bronze with a copper duo-chrome flip.

Mattes

The last four shades from left to right are all mattes. Stay Golden is a burgundy red
Cut-outs is a burnt orange. Top-Notch is a terracotta brown. Lay Low is a soft coral.

The shade names from left to right, Renegade, Indio, Over Packed, Get Lost, Hungry Ghost, Island Hopping. The top picture was taken in natural lighting aka in the sun.

Pressed Glitters

From left to right, Renegade is a soft rose gold with a copper sheen. Indio is a soft pink with holographic glitter. Over Packed is lavender with holographic glitter. Get Lost is warm opalescent with large holographic glitter. Hungry Ghost is opal with a copper and gold. Duo chrome shift. Island Hopping is opal with a blue and copper shift and holographic glitter

The Review

These metallics are very smooth and buttery. They apply nicely with a brush or finger, depending on preference. The mattes in the bundle are buttery and blend into the skin nicely. If you have ever tried a ColourPop eyeshadow, they are the same great quality. The glitters of the bundle were the main reason I had brought this. They are very beautiful on the eyelids. With these pressed glitters, a little goes a long way, so be careful with how much you apply because things can get very messy very fast. You do not need a glitter glue. I like to apply the glitter with my finger and slowly dab it on. If you are very messy with glitters, I recommend doing your eye makeup first, so you can clean up any glitters that may have fallen. Overall, I recommend ColourPop “Pretty Please” palette. For the price of $20, you can create glam to everyday makeup looks.
