Review and Swatches: Glossier Haloscope Highlighter in “Quartz”

Glossier Haloscope Dew Effect highlighter is a cream stick highlighter that retails for $22 US dollars. There are currently 3 different shade available. Every Glossier Haloscope highlighter has a balmy circle center with the highlighter pigment surrounding it. The one I will be reviewing and swatching in this blog post is the shade Quartz.

The Review of Glossier Haloscope Highlighter in “Quartz”

I have been using the Glossier Haloscope in Quartz for a long time and I can honestly say it is one of my favorite cream highlighters. Since the formula is on the drier side, it not as sticky like some cream highlighters I have tried in the past. The balm in the center helps make the highlighter more emollient for skin application. Glossier Haloscope does not emphasize any of my textures like powder highlights do. This product gives such a beautiful glow from within that lasts a long time on the skin.

For applications, I would not recommend applying this highlighter directly on to the face if you have on a full face/ coverage makeup because it will remove your makeup. I normally apply this product by warming up the product with my fingertips and patting the product on to face. If your makeup is on the sheer coverage/ tinted moisturizer side, you can get away with just wiping it on to your desired spots and blending it out.

Glossier Haloscope Dew Effect highlighters are perfect for people who love highlighters that are more glowy than blinding. Since this highlighter has a glow from within feel, I find that highlighter is perfect for quick and easy natural makeup looks.

That was my review and swatch of the Glossier Haloscope Highlighter in “Quartz”. Have any questions or thoughts? Comment below and I’ll get back to you.
